During IT Career Switch boot camp where I am rigorously applying professional practices set out by my tutor. Throughout this course I have delved into multiple programming languages and web frameworks, this has enabled me to successfully complete a range of full stack projects and has familiarized me with professional practices.
CS50x Introduction to Computer Science

This intensive course primarily focused on the C programming language. Learning this language has given me a solid foundation in programming and has given me great insight into what has been abstracted away in more modern programming languages.

During my studies at Falmouth University, I discovered the need for software solutions to enhance my sculpture work. I applied two and three-dimensional modelling techniques, integrating my designs with laser cutting and 3D printing. It was during this creative process that my initial interest in programming was sparked. The synergy between art and technology continues to drive my passion today.

Senior Health Care Assistant
2021 - Present
Avon and Wiltshire (AWP) Mental Health Partnership NHS
As a Senior Health Care Assistant, my primary focus is to ensure all service users are safe and supported under my care. To do so it is paramount that I communicate effectively with both service users and fellow colleagues. Such communication enables me to create therapeutic relationships with patients, and ultimately presents a positive environment to support them with their mental and physical well-being. My daily tasks include liaising with both nurses and doctors, conducting physical observations, monitoring behavior, deescalating tense situations, managing aggression, addressing risks and supporting physical and mental illnesses. Additionally, I meticulously document individual service user information, behaviors, presentations, and medication details. Such tasks are reliant on effective organisation, time management and teamwork skills.
